It's all honestly based on personal preference. Most girls like tall guys and I've actually never met a girl who will even consider a guy her height or shorter.
It could just be the sheer difference between you. Like if she's closer to 5' she may just not be able to help being a little intimidated. I'm 5'6" so I tend to never feel the difference being ridiculous enough where there's a barrier. Plus, I love tall guys. Call me old school, but I'm all about the guy taking on the pants role, and I think height really adds to it. (I mean, it's also glorious for the occasional snuggle fest and frequent hugs. anything else fun? well, being horizontal makes height irrelevant. haha.)
But if a girl seems uncomfortable, the height could also be just raising her already existing panic at the social situation or trying to talk to you. I would recommend finding a way for you guys to talk sitting down so she can get really comfortable with you and I bet once you stand up later she'll feel a lot more comfortable.
No. And at 6'2" you're about average. I would say anything below 6' is on the shorter side and anything above 6'5" is on the taller side. Maybe you're very attractive or you don't give off a friendly vibe and that's why they feel so nervous/scared.
the guy I like is the same height as you, and I'm always nervous to approach him.idk know why, but tall hot guys are more imidating than short guys idk.
I doubt height has anything to do with it. They are probably nervous or scared for a different reason.

Haha not from what I've heard, most girls I know say tall guys are a turn on. I don't know how tall you are but I'm guessing they mean about like 6'0"
Being tall is def. a turn on.
