Haha Yup. We're broke. But we also love cocktails...

Whatever do we do now?

Firstly, you can always go for the classics...which are cheap. But you can also make up your own cocktails of whatever you have at home or is the easiest to grab at a store near you.

P.S. The thing you WILL find most challenging is to crush the ICE - because all cocktails, as you know, require it. Not all require crushed ice, but the ones that do...are a piece of work. xD

Personally my favorite is a southern classic the Mint Julep, easy to make and cheap to.

Main alcohol: Bourbon whiskey

Ingredients: 1 teaspoon Powdered sugar, 2 oz. Bourbon whiskey, 2 teaspoons Water, 4 Mint leaves

Preparation: In a highball glass gently muddle the mint, sugar and water. Fill the glass with cracked ice, add Bourbon and stir well until the glass is well frosted.
Garnish with a mint sprig.

Served: On the rocks; poured over ice

Standard garnish: Mint sprig

love mojitos. i use dark rum cause i think it has a better flavor. also making a simple syrup (just 2 parts sugar : 1 part water heated on a stove and dissolved) means you can use less club soda
