Would You Rather: Give Up Salt Or Sweet Food?

Salt is important and healthy. Cells are made up of large amounts of salt, your intestines need them to help absorb the stuff you need, It aids blood sugar control by improving insulin sensitivity, it lowers adrenaline spikes, it improves sleep quality, It supports hyperosmolarity of the extracellular fluid, adequate salt supports balanced hormones, etc.
Sweet food can lead to weight gain, diabetes, heart disease, acne, skin aging, depression, cancer, fatty liver, etc.
I'd much rather not eat sweet food and be healthy.
Sweet food.
Being 37% Italian and 63% black, Salted/Seasoned food is what I live for. I wouldn't survive if I could only eat sweet food, but not seasoned. I use hot sauce or jalapenos on EVERYTHING and to pickle jalapenos salt is needed. I'm sure there is also a % of salt in hot sauce ingredients.
There's typically quite a bit of salt in a lot of "sweet" foods too, but if I had to choose I'd give up sweet foods because it would have a much lesser impact on my ability to eat a variety of meals.
Giving up salt entirely would be extremely difficult by comparison.
I would give up salty food because I can just add other spices to improve the flavour. You can't do anything if you remove the sugar from sweets. Sugar replacements like stevia and whatever is used in Coke zero are disgusting (to me at least).

I have up #Sweets
Hyponatremia (condition of having a sodium blood deficiency) can cause low blood pressure dizziness vertigo nausea hallucinations seizures coma- even death. I have a sensitivity to low salt diets.. I prefer to keep my salt.
Also, I just really dislike sweets, so it’s not difficult to decide. ☺️🌟
Ugh, I don't think I could give up either! I have sweet and salty cravings, and I usually like to have something sweet after eating something salty, but sometimes feel the opposite way or get tired of just one.
I love both a lot, but I would have to give up Sweets. What can you eat that isn't salty? It would be better for my health, and I could keep making food for my fiancé and I without him wondering why none of the food has salt anymore.
Giving up weets is actually healthy. Salt is necessary for our organism so I rather give up sweet food. If I really really have to. Not that I want to.
I love salty food too much!!! I mean sugar's great but i couldn't live without salt. Sweet foods are usually more like desserts but salty foods are more meals, which i think are more important.

Damn. That was really hard fo decide lol. But I would give up sweet. I wonder how far is "sweet". Like does that mean no sweet potato as well? No fruit? Like where does that spectrum end?
I hate sweets so I have no problem getting rid of them
My recommendation, do not give up on foods, or ingredients! Giving up on these can be both easy and hard! It is trying to put the balance into getting the sweet or salt that were given up back into your diet! That is the trickiest part.
I actually didn't eat any salty food for a day and only ate sweet stuff.
Since that day I prefer salty tasting food over sugar.
Sweet food. I can get my energy/carbs from many non-sweet foods but salt is still a necessity in small amounts and can't be completely cut down.
I would rather give up sweet food because a lot of my main dishes are salty. I also prefer protein and vegetables as opposed to sweets!

I'd rather keep the spice than the thing which would theoretically get spiced.
