Have you ever bought a cake for your birthday and then ate it by yourself?

Just finished my first piece of birthday cake I bought for myself. So just wondering if I am the only one who does this.

I do this every year.

I have done this a time or two.

I have bought it for myself; but then shared it with others.

I have never bought cake for myself.

I have never done that. Someone always managers to remind me that my birthday is coming up (I usually forget). Then they get a cake and want to celebrate...

No- I've been in a position to, but it's always just seemed too depressing, so I get something else instead.

Before covid I went out to eat by myself... ate out once since covid with my man for his moms and sisters birthday.. I am horrible at cooking steak always over cook it like my father... I also love sushi never attempted making it yet.. I dont like talking while eating.. as a kid if my family went out I was always the last one done abd forced to stop eating before I was actually done.. so I prefer eating alone until I met my man.. he makes wicked awesome steaks too! Never comments how slow I eat sometimes he's slower.. never comments about the quality I eat like how do you pack all that away? Or are you eating more thats not enough.. I eat accordingly sometimes its awhile since I ate other times it hasn't been that long but wanted to spend time with the person that asked me.. I also went to movies alone no issues no one trying to talk to me during it until a guy I didn't know sat beside me and attempted to put his arm around me twice I removed it once he laughed and put it back.. I got up fast walked out by the door leaving the individual room I saw he was following me so I ran threw the rest of the movie theater to my car and he came outside looked around then went back inside.. he thought I got stood up that was the last time I went to the movies... was 2017.. no desire to go back ill watch them when I can find them to download
