What was the biggest hurdle moving out?

What was the most trouble you had moving out of your parents house? What is keeping you from moving out?

For me it's food. I don't eat much, if anything without a reminder. My parents really don't want me to die and it's not unreasonable to think I will starve myself if left alone. That's kind of why my girlfriend is perfect for me. She can't cook, but gets hungry. I can cook, but I don't get hungry. So we eat when she's hungry and I can cook for us.

No hurdles. No choice really. moved out to go to college and never really lived permanently at home again, moved back in for a few summers but that was it.
the real hurdle was moving back in for the summer... tough For me to live at home after having a taste of independence

I'm kinda like that, I'll go days without eating then suddenly I'm like, Oh I'll have two large pizzas and a pitcher of ice tea please...

But moving out I wen't hungry, minimum wage jobs don't pay enough to live on, even working 80+ hours a week won't get you a decent place to live and dating was out of the question, I couldn't afford a girlfriend until I got a good job.

I don't eat much even when I get hungry. A personal pan sized pizza is enough for me.

Money. Worked full time and did as much gig work as I could, from painting to pressure washing

Making money. If you genuinely don't ever feel hungry you probably have a hormonal issue.

I don't think so. With the amount if blood and urine tests I've gotten I'm pretty sure that one would have shown up on them. The best my doctor could offer was a medicine with the side effect of hunger.

Money, and also other things like a car.

If COVID-19 wasn't an issue you could use Uber or Lyft. That's what I did before COVID-19. It won't fix the money issue though, probably exacerbate it.
