Poll- How much do you spend a week on food alone?

I live alone but even if I buy cheap stuff at the market like 5 things is already $30. I’m trying to gain weight too so I have to eat a lot. I usually buy bread $2, eggs $2, 2 packs of cooked pasta $5 , sometimes I’ll splurge on a cooked whole chicken $8 , bananas $2, drinks like water, juice, soda $10, snacks $5-$10 , and two pal a of shakes $20. Most of the time after this food is finished I’ll do second round at the market go again during the end of the week but few more things to eat.

For our family we typically spend £100 poundsa week on food and other household things. It's so much more expensive to buy good food though! And food prices are all going up now 😞
When I buy for myself it's always cheap processed food and I can get away with maybe £20 a week lol

Yes everything is going up! I’m getting close to spending $100 a week on food. I eat a lot and even if I buy cheap stuff my money flies fast 🙁 I’m always hungry , even by just buying juice soda and water it’s already $10 🙁

It's getting quite ridiculous now, to eat healthy you need to be rich 😂
Even McDonald's prices are going up, that's when you know it's bad.
I eat loads of sweets and chocolate too but I don't treat myself to luxury stuff, just something to fill the hole

Around $100 USD per week. Near the end of the month, when my significant other runs low on funds and decides to come over here for her meals, I spend more.

Ha. Reminds me of a period in my life when I was going over to my girlfriend's house almost every day and she wouldn't have anything to eat so I'd buy us a nice take out meal from a local restaurant. After maybe the 8th time I thought, what the hell is she a child? And I stopped. That said.. when one is married things work very differently.

These days it is just my wife and I and it is easily over a hundred bucks. More if meat is on sale and we stock up.

Hardly nothing. My grandma cooks for the family everyday except the weekends.
