Do you watch mukbang videos?

Not really, I don't care to see other people eat. It's kind of pointless and boring. But I like to see other cook and recipes.

I like to show people this girl a lot to counter the idea that all skinny Japanese women must be anorexic and barely eat. Most Japanese women I've known eat a lot (maybe not 10,000+ calories in one sitting but a lot more than people might expect).
https://www.youtube.com/embed/-dxqlXPyDl4With my wife, I'd estimate that she eats around 2500-3500 calories a day (maybe an average of around 2800 calories/day). She's in her 40s and around 55kg. I think lots of people just grossly underestimate how many calories Japanese can burn in a day.
@highlyvolatile people tend to completely disregard how Japanese or American culture deals with being fat. From what I've heard Americans tend to love their cars, where as the Japanese tend to walk a lot more, use public transportation to move around. It's a question of how you eat not what you eat.
@SlothySlob I often think that walking and cycling play quite a large factor. It's quite common for the average Japanese person, in order to run their daily errands, tends to spend about 2 hours a day either walking or cycling. I think another thing that might factor in is how Japanese homes and apartments tend to be quite small and rather uncomfortable; few people have couches and large living rooms to relax. I think that also encourages more time spent outside the home. Also, energy is quite expensive so most Japanese don't have convenient things like dishwaters and driers so there's a lot of daily manual labor washing dishes, hanging clothes out to dry, etc.
@highlyvolatile let's not wonder why something is as it is, but listen to someone who, I think, still lives in Japan.

@SlothySlob Nice! That's definitely true that Japanese -- even mere acquaintances -- will point out if people are getting chubby. It's usually not in a bullying way though. I think it just doesn't occur to us that it could be considered so offensive in some other cultures. I think also there is a lot of care starting from the earliest childhood among parents and schools to make sure the kids don't become too overweight. I think it's much harder for people who have been overweight in their childhood and teenager years to lose weight when they become adults.
No they are piggish and disgusting. My grandmother always told me to eat till I was satisfied and not to overindulge. Granted I always ate maybe a bit more than I should have getter ng seconds and sometimes thirds. She also taught me table manners and the difference between people and debased animals and savages. When you see the actual state of the world, know how small our food reserves are, and how many are going hungry you see this and you just want to punch these people. Especially that loser "avocado" f*g.
i never understood watching someone else eat. plus mukbang videos... they're kinda disgusting. and nikocado is just a sad pity case. he very well knows what he's doing to himself and even after developing disorders he continues to worsen his health instead of working out and eating healthy. if u see his old channel he used to be a lot healthier and nicer too.
To play the devils advocate, I think the guy is actually playing a character. Pretending to be someone else purely for the views. I think he's just the kind of guy who's willing to do anything for success.
Only certain ones. The Korean mukbangers that eat cleanly and neatly are very satisfying to watch for me! I also watch this Indian mukbanger that reminds me of home and my mom's cooking. But Nick grosses me out lol.
No, the comments under Nikocado Avocado's videos are sad as fuck though. The guy used to be vegan. He was healthier back then. Now he's just.. damn. I feel bad for the guy.
@Shyguy206 That's true, however, i cannot help but feel bad for someone who is straight up hurting themselves. He's morbidly obese and does not seem to at least try to change his ways. He's beyond saving and that honestly breaks my heart.
I love watching them... very specific tho because I cringe easily 😬
.
. HOWEVER this guy, ABSOLUTELY NOT. HE IS SUPER GROSS 🤮
No, no I can't. I does encourage me to work out. So in a sense, for me, mukbangs are a very positive influence on my life.
I watched like a clip or so but never actually watched a full video
The show man vs food ended up as a mukbang since the host took on food challenges with most having him gorging himself.
What in the living poopflinging hell is a mukbang video?
Is it like a sequel to a bukake video?

Nope. 🤮🤮🤮🤮
No lol. Hearing people whisper, chew, swallow, and slurp into the mic makes me feel insecure asf.
I love food as much as the next person but gluttony is repulsive.
Videos of a person eating too much in one sitting?
yes ma'am
i like food reviews better then mukbangs
mukbangs are depressing for me but food reviews are ok but it depends who's reviewing the food. i mostly watch retro tech channels on youtube
You can try thereportoftheweek first then look around. Also everybody’s food tongue and gut is different and you can also ask the employees about the food. I used to work at my local Pizza Hut and they had us eat new foods and Products.
He ain't dying of starvation that's for sure
No they make me a bit queasy
You people are doing what now?
I do not. I find them disgusting.
