How do you like your French toast made?

I make it with sliced up French bread. For the batter, I use eggs, vanilla, and a little bit of sugar mixed together. Then I dip each piece of bread in the egg batter and place on a hot griddle. Turn when browned, and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with either fresh fruit (strawberries/blueberries/bananas and whipped cream, or with fried apples and caramel sauce.

How do you mean? I like strawberries haha

When I make it at home, I usually will roll them up with bananas and peanut butter. Or strawberry jam!

I made some about two months ago.

instead of dipping the bread I just let the bread soak. Cooked them over a low heat.

they tasted like custard. I’ve not been able to reproduce the same flavors. I guess I’m going to have to learn how to make custard and mix the two recipes. So good…no one even used syrup.

My fancy varies. Right now I would go for syrup and cinnamon.

I just put them in egg, fry it with very little oil then put maple syrup and voila.

I can try that but mostly they bring it out by itself you put your own butter and syrup on it
