I went to the gas station to get a 12 pack of sodas and when it rang up it was like $10 and i was like I'm not paying that, so I grabbed it to put it back and he's like just leave it on the counter and I'm like I'm putting it back. So what's up with that? Kind of strange. Was going to just switch it out for a 2 liter or something cheaper, but I said to myself I guess I'll just leave with nothing then. Now I know gas stations typically charge more for the convenience, but I just thought $10 was ridiculous.

I don't know. I just thought it was weird that he wanted to put it back himself and I guess he was mad I decided not to buy it so I just said fuck it and left.

I don't think they were cold either. I think he keeps the cold ones on the bottom because I had this issue a couple months back, but it was line $7.50 for a 12 pack then.

Well the fact that he offered to put it back isn’t cold but it’s all in the manner and energy he set off too. Energy is real and we can all feel it, good or bad.. so perhaps he was slightly irritated, but that’s his problem not yours. Your money is precious, you worked hard for it and if you can find a better deal elsewhere, not to mention, customer service, you’re only being smart. It’s ok.

And it kind of defeats keeping the cold beverages at the bottom.. if it’s more con isn’t for someone to grab it from the top.. and they’re cold, he’s more likely to make a sale.. just because of convenience.. that’s why some places have snacks and beverage coolers close but to the check out line so when you’re waiting in line, you’re more likely to grab that reeces peanut butter cup because it keeps looking at you and you remember the taste of its magnificence..
