I also love York Peppermint Patties which are now Hershey's products.

However, Mounds and Almond Joy may be Hershey's products now, but they were originally Peter Paul products as can be seen in these commercials from the 1970s and 1980s. Hershey's acquired Peter Paul in 1988.

I have several. Hersheys dark chocolate, whatchamacallit, used to like 5th avenue, Hershey milk chocolate bar, occasional Reese’s cup, and Kit Kat

Unfortunately, I've never tasted a Hershey candy. :( So I can't say which one I prefer.
