Donald Trump

The TDS is strong in you.
You’re posting photos of pumpkins carved into a likeness of Donald Trump. That isn’t something a well-adjusted or mature person would do. He’s not even President anymore. But nope, still gotta talk about your boogeyman.
Besides, the goddamn question was, “What's your favorite "vegetable" that's actually a fruit?” In the “Food and Beverage” section of the site, I might add.
And you respond with what? Images of the former president.
Hence, TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME.
That’s where YOUR mind went. A normal person would say, “Avacadoes” or “tomatoes.”
But not you.
cucumbers are my favorite... but I always have them as part of a fruit salad rather than going with the veggies, lol
and then you have corn, which is technically a dry fruit, but eaten as a vegetable... and usually sold as grain, lol
Fresh corn is a mature but still soft nd juicy starchy vegetable when fully mature snd dried it is then a grain and the nutritional values differ greatly between corn as a starchy vegetable and corn as a grain it is definitely never considered a fruit.
@LiamSawyer corn is definitely not a vegetable... since it does not come from the vegetative part of the plant
kernels are part of the reproductive part of the plant, therefore... it is a dry fruit, also known as a grain
so, technically and scientifically speaking... corn is a fruit indeed
if we're talking crops, it is a grain
corn is only vegetable for the people who simply go and get it at the veggies section of the supermarket
The definition of a fruit says it must have the seeds on the inside of the fleshy part with the only exception being a strawberry.
@LiamSawyer maybe in a dictionary...
but I clearly said is an actual scientific definition, which of course... are always more complicated than a dictionary
No that is the botanical definition.
@LiamSawyer you will find many botanical definitions like this...
" In a botanical sense, a fruit is the fleshy or dry ripened ovary of a flowering plant, enclosing the seed or seeds. Apricots, bananas, and grapes, as well as bean pods, corn grains, tomatoes, cucumbers, and (in their shells) acorns and almonds, are all technically fruits "
I enjoy all of the fruits you have listed, but the avocados takes gold!
Does corn count as a fruit or is it more of a grain?

Of this list, probably (smashing) pumpkins.
I like them all, cucumbers and tomatoes especially. But squash is great. Squash soup is delicious.
Probably cucumber. I love the crunch haha
Pumpkins taste so good.
I would say probably avocados
I like all these but squash
Tomatoes.
Tomatoes.
Both A and B.
