Lee's Fried Chicken used to be my favorite, followed closely by KFC.

Unfortunately, some years ago now, the size of thighs and legs was cut in half, not only requiring doubling an order's quantity to be able to fill my stomach, but the tiny, sharp bone structure of these chick-sized pieces pose distinct hazards to the inside of my mouth.

I've never had Church's or Bojangles.

I tried Popeye's twice. I found it to be hard, dry and tasting of old oil, in addition to the pieces being small.

The only fried chicken I now consume is made at home. At least you can still buy a normal-sized fryer at the grocery store.
