I enjoy candy bars... years ago. The ones made today taste awful and as well make people sick and lower immune systems. Even the "health bars" seem questionable.

Whatever. Just don't feature actresses in the ads sporting fake mock orgasms over the product. It's an asinine way to sell shampoo, and an insufferable way to sell chocolate. But I know some advertisers won't be able to resist being that dumb, because the industry is loaded with "professionals" that secretly wish they could've gotten rich making porn instead.

In all fairness, depending on where that's being marketed, that'd be preferable to the tireless virtue signaling of pandering to perversion, vice, and stupidity that's practically required by (f) law in the UK of every single insufferable ad, as Britain is now full 1984, and cannot let a single breath go by without drowning the populace in pro-Beast of the Sea propaganda.

I disagree with your overall assessment. That may happen to you, but not to the vast majority of people.

BUT... yes, there's a market. And there are plenty of suppliers. Just one example is Teuscher chocolate from Switzerland. Their chocolate when sold in the New York City store is $116 dollars per pound and is made fresh every day and flown to New York. And people buy it. So there's a market. @purplepoppy gave you the best answer so far on details.

Not for the mass market because it's already flooded with brands like lindt in supermarkets. Looking in specialist independent chocolate shops and confectioners again there's plenty of expensive high end bars from little known producers.

If I was going down that route I would set up a shop selling "freshly made chocolate" that had to be eaten asap. This model seems to work well with ice cream here allowing high end producers to compete with Ben and jerrrys etc

I tend to still enjoy the chocolate bars we have today. I don't eat them all of the time but once in a while. I do like seeing new ones come out though.

There is a candy store near where I live. They make their own candy. They make all kinds of stuff including real primo candy bars, Milk chocolate or dark chocolate. They are great, I just bought some the other day to give to my wife. They are 2 bucks a piece. I think a Hershey bar is almost as expensive.
