To those here who like to cook do you like it when others help you out cooking in your kitchen or do you prefer doing all of it?

Do you like to have the kitchen all to yourself or are you cool allowing others to help you in there?

My mom for example prefers to do most of the cooking herself and dislikes people being in her way in the kitchen

I like to have the kitchen all to myself to do all or most of the cooking

I like having a helping hand in the kitchen with the cooking

I don't really cook anything so this doesn't apply to me

I am a very temperamental cook. In my younger years I used to cook for a Chinese restaurant while in high school. While I was in college during my summer months I worked at Zion canyon resort during the summer. During Thanksgiving I'm the only one that cooks the turkey. I have a family recipe for stuffing and nobody can produce the stuffing like I can. I have a smoker. I enjoy Smokey meats that is all kinds of poultry, fish, pork, and beef. My wife also loves it when I take over the kitchen. When I do pull out the smoker I usually smoke all the meals that we're going to eat for the week. I also individually freeze the smoked meats individually. This means our meals are planned out for a week to 2 weeks in advance. My wife knows she doesn't have to help with any of the meal. Most of the meals I prepare are for two unless we have company.

I also enjoy cooking with a dutch oven with hot coals from various types of wood. Like mesquite, apple, cherry, peach, oak. Which gives the mail that specific flavor. I have been noted to make roasts, various types of breads and fruit cobblers. And being able to use a dutch oven it allows the flavor of the type of wood coal that I use to cook the meal. I LOVE when a guy helps me in the kitchen! Lee (my ex-boyfriend) would frequently help me in the kitchen if I was going to cook him dinner. (It’s also nice, if I cook dinned, that he maybe do the dishes).

If they're guests with pleasure I'll just cook they can relax, but cooking together can be fun. I just hate the dishes so if they want to do that... be my guest!

I like to cook alone. I can’t stand anybody in my kitchen. I hate people watching me cook too.

If i cook, i'm doing it myself. My mother sometimes helps but otherwise, she's sleeping or getting on my nerves. So I do it alone if possible

I do love cooking together but you need someone in controle and helpers. It doesn't work when everybody is doing their own thing
