No I don't care for white chocolate and it's actually not a true chocolate at all. It doesn't contain any cocoa particles it's just cocoa butter and sugar with a little vanilla flavoring.

Technically without cocao solids or nibs which is where all of the chocolate flavor comes from and makes chocolate a food not a candy, white chocolate is just fat and sugar the fats coming from cocao butter which lacks any flavor and palm oil, they add vanilla flavoring to give it some flavor but it is mostly sugar. The FDA says that chocolate must contain a minimum of 10% cocao solids to be considered chocolate. To give your statement that white chocolate is chocolate some credence the chocolate makers have been lobbying to say that if white chocolate has a minimum of 20% cocao butter it should be considered chocolate, this would be to their advantage as it's much cheaper to make.
