What Are The Best French Fries?

What fries do you think are the best I did not include tater tots, potato wedges or pommes souffle because I don't consider them french fries I consider them there own thing and I didn't include smile fries because they are just nasty and I refuse to accept their anybody's favorite besides a child. also this is as many options as let me give

Belgian fries

Standard fries

IMHO, the best fries are sweet potato fries, better taste over fries made from regular potatoes.

Trivia: French Fries were actually invented in Belgium. US soldiers in World War I discovered them in Belgium, and since the area of Belgium they were in spoke French, they called them French Fries what they brought the idea back to the States. So, in reality, all French Fries should be called Belgian Fries.

I count sweet potatos as a different category because it's different styles of potatoes rather than a deferent shape/ texture because any of those Fry's could be made using a sweet potato.

That and frankly I just hate sweet potatoes because they are sweet

My fave used to be McDonald's and then the ones I used to get at Cedar Point. I like the curly ones but, almost NOBODY bothers to peel the fuckers before they cook `em!!! It's a pain in the ass to peel them with my fingers while I'm eating them!!

I love pretty much any type of fry, but I love curly ones when more regular fries get boring. Steak fries only get a second since they're seasoned.

There is a place in Freeport , Maine that sells the curly fries , They are the best. When my son worked at Burger King I used to have to pick him up after his shift a d he would get me an order of fries and run them through the fryolator twice, They were really good too. I sometimes get a potato and cut it up into thin disks and fry them up myself. The yare really good too.

I think these lot most like what we would call hot chips in Australia apart from looking over cooked. French fries are ok but I do prefer chips.

The other 2 are good. Instead of potato, zucchini and cauliflower are used. I'd go with cauliflower fries though if you don't like parmesan & grease. They taste good with ketchup.

You can make cauliflower fries, or you can buy them. Green Giant brand has cauliflower fries, tots, and hashbrowns. I only have them once in a while and they're good. They also have fries that are a mix of broccoli and cauliflower too.

No I don't like sweet food really like don't get me wrong I like cake and cookies but I'm not of fan of sweet regular food like I don't like bbQ and I don't like bell peppers or sweet potatoes or carrots.

Don't mean I hate veggies like I love spinach, cauliflower, broccoli , eggplant, pan squash, and like jalapeno id like to find a pepper that I can use in place of bell pepper for but I just don't like sweet for some reason never have
