The 'fake Bud light controversy' is anything but, while the last time I drank it or any American beer was 10 years ago. The controversy of Anheuser-Budweiser using Dylan Mulvaney has escaped the internet and is now affecting Anheuser-Budweiser share price which has plummeted and all of the beers produced by they are being left on the shelves in stores, and political parties who are doing 'get to know you' events are finding that even though they have free bars the Anheuser-Budweiser beers are being left untouched.
Bud Light has been silent across all Social Media platforms since the Dylan Mulvaney brand partnership backlash erupted. • Instagram- no posts since March 30th • Twitter- no posts since April 1st • Facebook- no posts since March 30th.
Still think the 'controversy' is fake?
Create the contraversey for sales. Of course it can backfire but the bud light management cannot back down. I'm guessing they have some young up and coming management team that thought all this up based on what they learned in college about combing woke politics and popular culture
More than likely, but Anheuser-Budweiser have not fired anyone over this, and have been deigning that anyone has been sacked over this, even though there were rumours Wednesday/Thursday that the creative team and the CEO have been sacked, the only thing for sure is they have been loosing money hand over fist since the beginning of the week when this sorry tale broke out into normie world.
They are in too deep now and like Disney can't back down.
Fake? Elaborate on that? Their sales figures are public and financially it is factually reported that they've lost millions and their sales are down 20-30%.
That is a fact so it is misguided to call it fake.
It is obvious a lot of beer drinkers just want to drink beer and they don't want any politics involved in their purchase. Just make beer and sell beer without getting the consumer involved in hot political issues.
I for one strongly support that theme. Companies just sell your products without all of the grandstanding on politics.
It is nauseating the way companies pull this political crap.
Bullshit. Learn how to read numbers. Their stock price at its worst went down 12%. They don't care so much about sales as they do profit margin. Sure, that can be based on sales, but if this 12% trend follows through to the end of 2023, it means Anheuser-Busch will lose about $2.3 million in profits for the year. When nobody gives a shit in 2024, it will come back. What an effective statement you all made! LOL

I am VERY confident, the people that work there that masterminded this debacle were the very same people who were hired because of their demographic ahead of others, who were more qualified. Someone higher up and in charge had a gun to their head to increase diversity. They took a chance that this is a place we can stick some diversity people where they can't do too much damage. I mean normally beer kind of sells itself. You have have some completely unqualified dufus hired based on their genitalia or skin color to fuck it up the job of advertising beer to Americans for Christ sake. All they had to do was the typical miss a lot of work for bullshit excuses and collect a big paycheck for doing nothing other than helping the company check the damn boxes and all of us could fund it in higher prices for everything.
Personally I don’t care, but I have some cans in the fridge that are a couple years old and I could probably advertise them as “anti-woke” bud light, just like those boomers that were trying to sell “banned” Dr. Seuss books for hundreds of dollars as if they were the last surviving copies.😂
This reminds me of the Gillette disaster, which cost the parent company, P&G $8 billion. I have not bought any Gillette product since then, and never will again.
It's astounding to me how out of touch some companies are with their customer base.
LOL no, i never drank that shit and will never do it.
What part of it was fake, I mean, other than him being a girl.
As for drinking it, I don't drink beer so, it hasn't bothered me at al but, if I WAS a beer drinker, and that's what I drank, I might've switched, too.
I never drank Bud light but Budweiser was one of my usuals , but after this I stopped any form of Bud and sticked to Heineken and Coors
LOL, who wants to drink MORE of it as a result of that dumb business decision?
Nope. I was a faithful bud drinker. Now I’ve changed my go to
No, but I never drank it anyway so I guess you can say I was uneffected.
Bud light? THAT SHITTY, CONSERVATIVE beer, nope!
I wasn't a fan of Bud Light before, and definitely won't drink it now.
I don't drink alcohol, but makes me wish I did so I could boycott Bud light myself.
You would have to pay me to drink it.
I've never drank bud light. I only drink Heineken
Nope. I don't drink beer.
Rum does it for me.
How is it fake?
Marketing strategy to sell bud light
That marketing strategy cost Disney billions of dollars. The woke are a very tiny percentage of consumers.
They are always looking for new markets. It might work for a short time but people in general just can't be bothered with woke nonsense.
They can do whatever they want, but abandoning a large market for a small market, doesn't make much sense.
This is a common problem with companies. The value new customers over current customers
