Do you like hard crunchy, fruit, or soft slightly over-ripe fruit?

I love my fruit firm, even if it's a little raw and sour, it gives it a nice tang. I could never let a fruit hang in peace on a tree, would always try to get it as soon as I could, and that habit has stayed with me. But soft soggy fruit was always a turn off. I feel it lacks freshness. When my fruit gets to that stage, I feed it to my feral Opossum, he just loves over-ripe and even bad fruit and just jumps out of nowhere and is on it in a flash.

I'd say crunchy, sometimes softer fruit might taste less sweet. I like it ripe though. But for me right now soft fruit might be best to eat.

Hey little Pops, I like pears too, gonna have some tonight, I even have a pear tree, but the pear tree and the apricot tree are the favorite of the raccoons, not even one pear or apricot ever touches the ground. Really no fruit is speared, only the cherries some how manage to grace the ground, guess they are small and slip out of their hands.
That's good in a way, less mess and rotting fruit to clean up. I remember in London the mess the apples used to make, we would have apple this and apple that, kind of had apples coming out of our asses. Maybe I should let loose a few raccoons on my next trip.

There are raccons in the uk, escapees from zoos. I've found badgers to be particularly fond of pears.

Yes I know that , along with kangaroos, wallabies, Asian deer etc, they are all very invasive, like did you know the Scottish moor was a jungle once? In New Zeeland they played hell with the resident animals, like the Kakapo, the heaviest land parrot in the world. Very sad, all over the world there are these horror stories. In Okinawa japan, they brought many stowaway snakes by importing all kinds of fruit in fruit crates, so the snakes began to eat the bird eggs, so they brought a whole lot of mongoose, But the stupid asses did not consider that the Mongooses were day hunters and the snakes there were nocturnal, So now they have a whole lot of snakes and mongoose and the native flora and fauna gets fucked. The worst example is Hawaii. The bastards never learned their lesson with the extinction of the Dodo, a large land bird on the Island of Mauritius. Sorry to bore you little one.

I like hard watermelons and like the white part too. But even in mangos they must be hard and I even eat the skin. So I only like the mangoes who's skin is edible, some mangoes when ripe have bitter skin that u just cannot eat.
