Do you like sodabreads?

Today I got the bakestone out and tried an old recipe for a simple soda bread. It was just a pound of flour, half pint of buttermilk and a half teaspoon of baking soda then flatten out and whack on a hot bakestone top of the hob.
I found it to more pleasing than the normal Irish sodabreads and a lot faster to make.
