I never bothered. I don't know whether I needed it or not. I just never bothered with it.

Besides, I think I had a liquid limit that was worse than my alcohol limit. It is one thing to drink 30 tequila shots and another to drink 30 large cans (15 liters) of beer. The former I could handle. The latter would kill me before I finished.

The only way we could maybe put a distinction between liquid limit vs. alcohol limit back when I was drinking so heavily was Spyritus (192 proof) or Everclear (190 proof) shots. Those shots really messed me up. But that's also how I gained my tolerance originally is drinking an entire bottle of Spyritus. Although I got a serious problem for a while with how it destroyed the lining in my throat.

I’m the opposite I can drink a 6 and be a 7/10 but four rounds of jose cuervo will put me at an 11

I think I kind of messed up my think very early on. My favorite bar in Tokyo was this very cozy bar. But shot menu was like:

Tequila -- 500 yen
Whiskey -- 500 yen
Vodka -- 500 yen
Jager -- 800 yen
Spyritus -- 500 yen

My favorite was Jager but I was thinking about cost-effectiveness. Spyritus had more than double the alcohol of tequila/whiskey/vodka but at same price! Discount!

So that's all I ended up drinking for the first year or so.
