You want to be the second one.

Yeah. A Glock 18 with laser sight. Never used it that much at the gun range, cause my city only had two (in a city of a million, only two gun ranges!) and they were both like an hour away from where I lived and overprices as hell for memberships. But I still had the laser sight on it.
4. 30/30 Winchester , 1800's Navy Colt.44, Saturday Night Special.38, and a shot gun. Also cross bow, and pellet guns. . I also own a gun you might be able to convert to shoot.22.

No, you emphatically do NOT want to be the person who instinctively escalates every dangerous situation. Who immediately identifies themselves as a threat. Who prompts pretaliation from anyone even capable of violence.
That's exactly the kind of mindset that should KEEP someone from having a gun.
Nah, never wanted one or felt the need. If I stay in America long term, the gun “enthusiasts” are starting to worry me to the point where I’d start to feel the need for one. But I don’t really love it here so I may just not be long for this country once my dad has passed on. I’d imagine I’d seek out a safer, more chill country than this one, where I’d feel fine not having a gun.
Don't be stupid.
Only a redneck retard keeps guns in such "off chance".
An educated human being would not be living in a fucking ghetto that would have regular break-ins. Also, investing in better cameras and security would almost guarantee never having to require such.
If it is so important for safety, why each year on the US are there approximately 15,000 homicides by firearm, 45,000suicides by firearms, 288 school shootings so far this year and 508 mass shootings so far this year. Do you really think this demonstrates the benefits of gun ownership?
Do a simple internet search and type in gun deaths per capita worldwide. If it doesn't shock and appall you, it says a lot about US culture.
An exaggeration. We have a big population.
As my previous answer, do a search per capita, i. e per 100,000 of the population. For example, in 2019, US 3.96 per 100,000 population, UK 0.04 per 100,000, nearly 100 times greater. There is no exageration, unless every report is wrong. It's time the US got real and modified it's gun and social culture.
No. I think I would feel more uncomfortable with a gun than without. Carrying a gun is a lot of responsibility. And gotta make sure you have your permit with you in case you get searched by police. I will stick with my knife.
You've forgotten the most likely gun ubiquitous scenario. That you end up shooting yourself or your neighbour shoots you because he got drunk, is paranoid and think you fucked his wife.
Let me make a little adjustment.
"There are only two types of men in USA."
There we go.
So, to answer your question, no.
No, I don’t own a gun personally. My dad has a couple though.
No, I live in a civilized country, so there is no need for one.
And what country would that be?
I’m mentally ill, so I’m not getting a gun. And I just don’t ever want to shoot a gun or be around them
I bought a.357 magnum S&W Model 66. and a Remington shotgun.
Nope. Thankfully I don't need guns in my life.
