The Netherlands are pulling 86 metric tonnes of gold out of the USA and moving it to London for safety. The official reason given is "due to increasing geopolitical unrest," and the gold is no longer safe under Trump."
I'm speculating that their spies have uncovered plans that Trump plans to seize it to build a statue of himself or to pay off his Epstein island victims to keep quiet.

They have zero concerns about Drumpf. They’re worried that democrats might gain some ground in the midterms. Everyone knows that the democrats are going full on pseudo-socialist and that they will tax everyone who has actually earned anything into poverty in order to enrich themselves in the name of giving handouts to criminals and deadbeats. That gold won’t last a day under DSA control. Drumpf just wants you to buy his crap. He doesn’t steal it and then call it “equality”.
Germany, Italy, India, Poland, France, Austria, Turkey and Hungary have all either removed their gold from the US or have demanded it back. The real reason is they don't want their assets frozen in another country by an unstable leader.
I had no clue that other countries deposit their gold at Ft. Knox for safekeeping. But, they better take it out before Trump steals it to pay for his wars.
They know that the USA is no longer a reliable political ally, trading partner, or harbor of economic stability. Kudos to the Netherlands for not waiting until it's too late.

The United States actually houses gold for many countries, in Fort Knox Kentucky and in a large vault in New York City.
The Netherlands could be moving its gold from US to London just to keep it closer to home, plus London may be charging less than teh US to store it.
In simple terms, moving it to London makes economic sense. Politics may play a small part but economics rule.
