Can't get more detailed than the title.
+1 yWell, grammatically I suppose the answer is no, since the correct would be do I own firearms, plural.
Yes. As a consequence of my life I have been around and carried a firearm in one capacity or another since I was 18. I own several rifles and revolvers and about three dozen pistols, mostly the big name brands like Glock, Sig, H&K, and Smith & Wesson. Some are collectors items which have never been fired and are worth thousands and some are bare bones service grade pistols like I carried in my career. I carry a firearm daily and have taught my son the basics of safe firearm use.10 Reply

+1 yIn the US, the 2nd Amendment gives me the right to own a firearm, and the 1st Amendment gives me the right not to tell about it.

@Pink2000 they've been out for about 2 years. I bought one last year because I go in bad areas for work. It's very easy to use. Just don't stand too close to the person that you're shooting at. When the ball hits the target and explodes the residue can get on you and make your eyes and throat burn. It's really powerful stuff. Very highly effective in stopping the perpetrator in their tracks

+1 yno because where i live it is super expensive, super hard to jump through the hoops tha texist to get them and when you finally get them, you can do nothing with them except taking them from your safe to the range and back to your safe. EVERYTHING else is highly illegal and you will be punished if caught. and you will probably be caught cause the police is super uptight around gun owner ship.
oh and one fun extra thing that exists here is: if you actualy managed to gain the right of ownership, at that point the feds will come visiting you regularly but unannounced to check if your weapon is properly stored in the highly regulated safe. if they find one little issue, they'll take the guns and your right to own them away.01 Reply- +1 y
like one example: when my grandpa died, the next day police was at our door demanding that we hand them his ww2 weapons that he had the right to keep after ww2.

+1 yYes. Walther P-22, Glock 49, Plumb Crazy AR-15 (5.56), and a shotgun that I can't remember the name of. Basically, I just have the basic bitch shit. Rich kids get all the cool toys not me.

+1 yI do but walmart doesn't sell pistol ammunition anymore so I don't shoot them as much. I also own steel targets. I'm going to be shooting my 22 lr weapons more this summer. Much cheaper to blow money on.
20 ReplyA few. Glock 17L is my go to gun in a home invasion.
20 Reply688 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I own an airsoft rifle in the country where I live now and it got me arrested when someone confused me for an armed terrorist. So no, I don't own an actual firearm.
Assuming I ever move to a more weapon friendly place I would buy one.00 Reply992 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. No, I don't own one but I'm not against anyone who owns one.

+1 yNo and it's virtually illegal in my country and again NO and No. I think it must suck and be a letdown to live in a country like America or Canada and there's all those scary grizzly bears, killer bears 🐻
00 Reply18.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I do. It’s not an addiction like with some people. Or a delusion of some sort. I meet a lot of people in Texas ranting about hunting their own meat, or prepping for the zombie collapse. Lol

What’s delusional about providing your own meat?
- +1 y
@Redstang88 believing gmo’s are bad for one, no science in that.
- +1 y
What’s that got to do with hunting?
- +1 y
@Redstang88 other than a reason they do it?
- +1 y
It’s A reason, sure. Are you trying to argue natural foods aren’t healthier?
- +1 y
@Redstang88 didn’t say that. I actually don’t know. I’ve seen studies that show antibiotics help and more that show it pushes kids into puberty at a younger age.
But even organically grown foods are processed in some ways. So I would imagine questions about how regular people deal with food versus companies that deal in organic. I would lean toward the organic companies. But I know Monsanto and also hate Tyson for its processes.
Watch Food, Inc, or The Corporation docs and you start reading up on companies. - +1 y
Exactly, the rules for “organic” products are loose at best. Your reply just seemed to be saying wanting to grow, hunt or catch your own food was a bad thing.
- +1 y
@Redstang88 Wasn’t meaning that. Just saying that thinking processed foods was ALL bad thus grow, hunt or catch your own food. there's lots of chems that do help waive off illness spread in foods.
But no I would never hate on anyone doing that recreationally or even full time, just because they want to.
And I know “organic” has more regulations than “whole grain” or other marketing words. Organic is a serious FDA label. Also not saying there ain’t loopholes and shit. We’re human.
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yI don't own one and never had. Not currently in a place where buying one would make sense, but I would definitely consider it and I think everyone should have a right to purchase them.
10 ReplyUK here. It's pretty hard to own a firearm in this country. There are all kinds of silly regulations. I haven't really looked into it.
10 Reply710 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I own a less lethal gun. I can't kill someone with it but I can stop them in their tracks
