Even when I lived in a much “hoodsier” area, I never once felt the need. Now I live in Candyland lmfao, I’m DEFINITELY not worried. It’d be a waste of money and would just collect dust. One of my life rules is to not live in fear of other humans, like I’m just not going to spend my time on this planet walking around thinking the next guy might shoot me. Quite honestly, I’d rather just get caught slippin’ once and lose my life than risk living 80-something years constantly looking over my shoulder and assuming the worst out of every stranger I encounter. It’s not naïveté, it’s just a conscious decision to not spoil my day-to-day experience worrying about something that almost certainly will never happen. Most anything I can handle with my fists. I might not win them all, but I probably won’t die, and I probably won’t kill anyone. I’m good with that, 100%.
Yes.
hell yes
I don't but my parents do ant tbh I'd probably get one in the future when I live alone. I have no worry setting off a guy if an unwanted person comes into my home. Would like to go hunting too some day. Otherwise thats what guns should be used for.
I come from a country where you literally need guns to protect yourself if someone breaks in otherwise you're getting raped and possibly killed or just beaten to pulp. If you're being an idiot bringing a gun out when it's not needing, so seem "tough" or to harm innocent people then you're just shit and ruining it for the people who actually feel they need it for protection or to go out hunting
Yes, although in my state you have to be 21 to buy a long-gun (rifle, carbine, shotgun etc…) you may possess one at 18. I currently own:
A Beretta CX4-Storm.
A Diamondback Arms AR-15 in desert sand.

I don't own one yet, but I got my LTC in April. So I wanna hit up the range and some classes first, but I plan on purchasing one.
My dad died last year in February. He was one of those Redneck farmers! lol He had a lot of guns, rifles, tazors, bow and arrow.. He hunted a lot. But I had to take all his stuff. My husband has a license to own. Not me.
I am SO sorry to hear about your father, you have my deepest condolences. Where do to love where you need a license to own a firearm?
@CrazyGirl2 Thanks.. I'm in Wisconsin. I don't know wut to do w/the stuff anyway. I don't know about guns! I've nvr used one!
I’d recommend that you ask your husband to take you to the range, and have him pick the best personal protection gun, and teach you how to use it. Just in case (gif forbid) he is out of town and your house is broken into! I’ve been raped, believe me the worst part is the feening of helplessness! That this is going to happen and there is nothing you can do to stop it! A gun is the only tool that makes a 220lb man and an 98lb woman equal in a fight!
I don't own a firearm and I don't know anyone who has one. They're expensive and not everyone can buy them.
Yeah, several dozen actually... all different though. Like I don't want to wear the same cloths each day, don't want to conceal carry the same gun or fire the same rifle all the time either.
Where I live it's very difficult to obtain a gun permit, unless you have a very serious reason
I've only seen people with hunting rifles, not regular firearms
There is one in the house, something like a hunting rifle, but I don't have one personally. It's not a priority but I might buy myself a pistol someday.
Illegal here to own one unless you’re a hunter with a license, and I don’t surround myself with hunters. Not a fan of hunting.
I can no longer own a firearm now that I'm back in the UK because I 'Do not have a good reason' according to the local Police force Chief Constable, when I lived/worked in the US I had a CCW and carried a Browning High Power as a EDC.
As far as I know, here in Sweden, one can't own ANY firearm... well, with the exception of Hunting Rifles, for obvious reasons.
I do own firearms, my own plus a dead relative gun collection.
I don't own a firearm and I'm not living with anyone who owns one.
I don't like the responsibility i already have and i don't want to add more to it. So no guns.
I own a pistol that was given to me by an old friend for security.
Yes but I put it out. so perhaps not. Its now just a burn arm.
I used to, I'm thinking about getting a new one soon for protection purposes
they say a true boss does t get his hands duty … my girlfriend think ima pussy not boss
Hell yessssss, This is my rifle, this is my gun, this is for fighting and this is for fun.
Only people in government and army could own ones in my country.. a normal citizen can't get one it’s illegal.
I currently have a phased plasma rifle in 40 watt range.
They're not legal in UK so no. If they were legal (easily available) I would probably own them.
