Great question! At home, it is my home. We have lakefront property. So, I wake up to that view and can sit outside in the quiet whenever I want.
At school, much like you, it’s a spot on campus. Isn’t always quiet tho.

I live in a Box van... this isn't real life.
In real life, I cook food in this 3 story house and go through the grinds day after day. My dream land though... alone... no kids... nobody else to take care of... just me.
Box van, video games, music, park where I can find and do hookers that I like.
Not complicated... simplicated.

For me its escaping into nature. A long hike or even better a canoe on a lonely lake allows me to find peace.

  No such thing as lonely on the lake back home. Haha.
  
  You can find good trails that are quiet. Can't canoe or kayak much other than a few places or you'd get run ovwr by the crazies. Those kayak spots are so packed.
