This question concerns both girls and married women. Do you cook because you like it or because your boyfriend/husband wants it? For example, I hate to cook. And I'm not going to do it in the future.
I absolutely love cooking, and find it to be very therapeutic. I have enjoyed it since a little girl. Both my mother and grandmother are amazing cooks. My grandmother always said, the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. I always enjoyed eating and knew that marriage was one of my biggest aspirations in life since a little girl. So I knew that it was essential that I learn to cook. I have been cooking since a very young age, and can literally cook anything now.
I just recently got married, and I enjoy cooking for my husband daily. I look forward to eventually having children. I always said I would be the mother to make my babies cute little breakfasts. Such as Mickey Mouse pancakes etc. I also love to bake and have a huge sweet tooth. My husband unfortunately does not like sweets. Hopefully our future children will. I have hosted Thanksgiving Dinner for the past 5 years.
I have a theme based on the days of the week.Monday: Seafood/Soup
Tuesday: American
Wednesday: Mexican
Thursday: Italian
Friday: Pizza
Saturday: Italian or Mexican (These are both my husband and my favorite.)
Sunday: Island/Soul

I cook because I like it…. Even though I’m not good at it. I think it’s fun. I cook for myself, coworkers, and friends.
My boyfriend now used to be my guinea pig when I was trying to learn how to cook. He used to talk so much shit about my cooking, but is always begging lol.

I like it as a creative outlet. It’s also a nice opportunity to enjoy some traditional family moments. I find cooking very relaxing too. Of course, last but not least, cooking helps me make sure I’m eating clean, healthy food that’s best for my body and overall health.
I like cooking because I just find it fun in general, not because I feel I have to. Most of the time I just cook for myself (I'm single) and I enjoy it
I know how, I can and have for many years. for my family of 5-6 before I got married in my late 20s.
Now I don’t want to. Hubby cooks some. We eat out some and order out some. Makes life easier …Yes! I enjoy cooking, baking, and i'm working on BBQing but i find it difficult not to over-cook the meat. I enjoy spoiling those I love with good, hearty food, healthy treats, filling desserts and delicious meals :)
Love cooking. When I was younger and lived at my parents house I often cooked for the five of them and loved it. Nowadays I cook for my Husband every day and love it. He never asked me to but I know he loves it too.
I hate to cook I just cook because it is expected of me. I personally could live on cereal and instant noodles.
I don’t really enjoy it at the moment since I live alone and cook for myself, but I do hope I’ll enjoy it more when I’m married and cooking for others. Right now, I just don’t find it relaxing after a 10 hour shift at work.
I don’t know how to cook and I don’t like doing it either. But if I get asked, I’ll do my best.
I like cooking. It's my job though, so I find it hard to be inspired at home to cook. Plus with the price of food my creativity has gone out the window. It's depressing
I hate cooking. I’ll do it out of necessity but I don’t find any joy in it. It only stresses me out, and then I’ve got to clean up afterwards.
