How high end is your pet's food?

I only buy top-of-the-line pet food. My pet eats better than I do!

I buy premium pet food, but I'm also price conscious

I buy whatever's on sale

I don't own a pet.

I don't look at the price... I get variety of brands and flavors, then the dog and the cats have picked their favorites, so I repeat and rotate those

looked up online about these brands, asked a few Vets as well... they have no worries about these brands, and so it goes

Pretty expensive. It hit almost $70 a bag recently then dropped to $50 but only because the bag got smaller. Bastards. We actually feed them a blend of homemade food (ground beef or turkey, frozen peas & carrots, and rice) 50/50 with kibble dog food. Usually Blue Buffalo.

All levels of food get recalls. That used to be my lean to deciding factor, none. But quality control slips with everything anymore. Eventually settled on mid-range that set well with everyone. All cats and all dogs.

I did feed raw mix for a while, but became too rich for some of my special needs pets. It's all about their own needs in the end.

About $1.50/pound is what I spend on my three dogs.

18 pounds will get them a few weeks, although I also give them lunch meat as a treat, as well

my dog's treats are sugar-free peanut butter and every night when I'm preparing my salad for the next day's lunch, she and one of my cats get a slice of cucumber each.

Oh boy, the treats are super expensive. Buddy will only eat chicken flavored stuff, which costs typically $10 for 4 sticks

what I do is get a bag of blue buffalo snacks, and snap them in half so they last twice as long. Some times I can snap them again into fourths.

I don't buy pet food, I buy meat and make it for my cat. it is very expensive to buy pet food. If pet food is $10 for a day I could use that money to buy fish or meat for 4-5 days. It is better to buy fresh and give it fresh instead of buying packeted pet food which contains chemicals to preserve it for months

I get a Canadian brand called Orijen Large Breed Puppy food and its about $110 for a 25 lb bag.

A blend of Iams (indoor) and Hills (dental). I guess that’s premium/high. I don’t change it up much, except for treats. I stick to what he likes and to avoid tummy trouble.
