A lot of people think it only comes served raw. Which is what turns many people away from it, as well as myself initially.

You can actually get sushi deep fried, grilled/smoked, and raw. I’m not a big fan of raw sushi. However I don’t mind raw nigiri occasionally. I suggest anyone looking to try sushi for the first time to start off with cooked rolls first, then ease your way into the raw rolls. It’s what I did, and I used to think sushi was disgusting. However, I was just ignorant and was unaware of the different variations the rolls can be served in.

Each restaurant have different names for their rolls.
The Philly roll is one of my favorite classic rolls.

I also love anything with Crab meat, Shrimp tempura, Lobster tempura, Smoked Salmon, Avocados, Cucumbers, Cream Cheese, and Spicy Mayo.
Lots of wasabi and soy sauce. Plus eel sauce on the the side.
Geesh, I am now craving Sushi. 😭

Yeah. I like the veggie, caterpillar rolls, imitation crab, imitation crab salad, crunchy california roll, cream cheese & salmon, and shrimp roll. And caviar sushi.

Yes but I don’t count California rolls as real sushi.
real sushi must have the raw fish at the top for me personally ti qualify are sushi. Otherwise it’s just rice rolled up with avocado. No thanks. If I’m gonna eat carbs it has to be worth it!

I love sushi. Haven't had it in a while because it's so damn expensive here. Most places here you pay per piece and it's anywhere from $2 to $4 a piece

Perhaps it may just be a bandwagon effect to like sushi. I would say I like sushi simply because I acquired it's taste. But really it just taste like I'm eating salad with the rice.
