Hairy ice cream, yah or nah?

During research for my earlier ice-cream questions I came across one parlour that's combined candyfloss (cotton candy) with an ice-cream cone. To my discerning eye it just looks wrong, something to delight tourist savages rather than ice-cream connoisseurs like myself.

Nope. Just get cotton candy flavored ice cream instead. Much better and good way to get both without needing to do something like that. But of course, I've seen some over the top milkshakes before.

Anyhow - I will imagine that if this basic scenario is applied on the different type of... icecream... I could find some attraction to it.

Cotton candy doesn't like moisture and ice melts and collects condensate moisture. I think this combo will turn in a mess in less than a minute.

Personally if its cotton candy and not cotton, sweet on sweet, I don't see an issue as long as they aren't adding hot Cheetos on top of the ice cream I don't have a problem 😂
