How many times a week do you eat fast food?

I avoid it and prefer to make time to cook at least once a week.

I DO make fast food at home, however. I bought Nathan's hot dogs, good buns and Pacific veggie chili, good pickles and assembled hot dogs, along with Kettle vinegar and salt chips. Then I have my preferred mustard, creole style, along with horseradish sauce and it takes no time at all to make this.

It also works as a packed lunch where there's a microwave at work. I brew cucumber/rose tea that I drink at home or can take to work in a thermos. Alternately I buy Diet Coke in 24 packs when they're on sale, or I have extra cash since they've become pricey at 60 cents per can, whereas the tea costs. The tea that I spend $25 dollars on lasts me three months of drinking at least three glasses per day. It is a flower/fruit tisane and has nearly no caffeine in it. That works out to less than 10 cents a day or 3.3 cents per drink.

You spend some of your time cooking and making tea and grocery shopping, but you make far healthier food and I get great pleasure making good food for myself and for those visiting my home, of which I have quite a few... My reputation proceeds me!

But the second biggest win is the money I save. Unless I guy something exotic, such as lamb from Australia or New Zealand, I survive on farmer's market fish, fresh veggies from there and a bit of chicken and the aforementioned Nathan's dogs.

If you cook once a week, you can have food for the week. And if you freeze some of what you cook if you live alone, you'll have food for the future.

It takes some planning and time and a spirit of adventure. sometimes you'll mess up what you cook, or just not like it. But after awhile you'll get the hang of it, save money, eat better and all your friends will start hanging around your house!!!

I would love to try the Makudonarudo (McDoamld's) in Japan. They say it's very good and has shrimp burgers and other tasty meals.

None. I work as a cook so I usually eat at work or take home leftovers. Otherwise I buy some cheap ingredients to make sandwiches or a bulk meal for that week at home. I only eat out once every few months maybe.
