Cakes can be plain, like chocolate or vanilla. They can be colorful and decorated, or they can be like art. Which ones do you like or would give someone on their birthday? As was said, "Let them eat cake!"

I do like the details in this one... very very appealing to my OCD tendencies

this one, I feel like it has the more cake, and the less frosting, icing, glaze and stuff..

and these kind of more elaborate cakes seem like a great detail to have for someone, and the theme/topic can be so many, lol

@NathanDavis It really just depends on the size of the cake and ingredients used that determines how many calories and sugar you will consume. They just don't taste the same with artificial sweeteners. ๐.
well... my point was more about having more cake, as in the soft bread part, which is what I really like from cake, the cake itself...
as for the cost, doesn't matter to me... carbs are my life fuel, lmao
Well, some people want more frosting on their cakes as that is what the kids like most. You can't defy their logic.
not this kid... but yes, I get it, lol
As for me Iโm going to have to say Slimer from Ghostbusters on this one.
That was cute. I loved that series. They were classics!
https://youtu.be/7Z3wfg1I6_U?si=R5lqIUrNP57hcItz This was my favorite scene. It looked like so much fun.
I think I saw that one but have forgotten most of it. ๐ค
I havenโt seen those movies in ten plus years & itโs so amazing how there were so many wonderful movies in the 80โs.
My inner fat kid is craving cake now. Do you make cakes?
Yes I do. And yes, the movies back then were better then some of the stuff they produce today, in my opinion.
When it comes to cakes, I delight in both receiving and gifting artistic pieces that surprise the palate and the eyes. One of my favorites is a Japanese matcha cake, which brings a subtle earthiness and stunning green hue. For birthdays, I often choose a Mille-feuille inspired cake with layers of thin crepes and delicate cream, offering an elegant twist. Each bite creates a memorable experience, much like a masterful dish crafted in a fine dining restaurant. 🍰

I almost doubt they are for eating. They look like movie props! :-D
@DryGermanGuy I guarantee you, they were made for eating. Of course, they really can't put them in a display case as they will spoil within short order, so eat them while they are fresh. I'm sure you have heard about people freezing the top off their wedding cake for eating on their anniversary. Was not a bad idea, but the very top layer of a large wedding cake is sometimes just cardboard with frosting on it. That would be a pretty chewy piece of cake, as well as a big surprise. ๐
My stomach hurts just looking at them.
That's the sugar talking girl. ๐
The Ghostbusters, Yoda and Starburst for me.
I love that slimmer and the Yoda cakes
You like the movie characters then?
The one with dinosaurs.
