I'm gonna say ok for the sole reasons that sometime people forget to put butter to their baking pan and thus when you try to unmold a cake then it look horribly bad and destroyed but still taste very good.

Of course it's not ok and if I am a guest at this Scott's place, I will voice my opinion, put my napkin down and walk out of the dinner party without saying a word.

Scott should know better not to make any stupid jokes about food and not to insult his guests.

Also, since Scott knows that he is stupid, he will also know that I am withdrawing my friendship with him and that he may not count on me for support in the future. I simply will not know him anymore from this day on. As simple as that.
