Bacon if I'm cooking it, sausage if I'm not. Fools don't know how to cook bacon. None of that soggy chewy bullshit or so hard it hurts your teeth. It should be red and gold and almost like a potato chip but melt in your mouth

I'm a bacon expert. You can come to California for the tutorial or just wing it until you get it right. I used to cook it on cookie or baking sheets with the one inch tall sides, but it's a burn and fire hazard from the grease if you tilt the pan when taking it out of the oven. Use the baking pan with the 2 or 3 inch tall sides. Never use glass baking pans, they can crack or explode when they touch cold metal when you take them out of the oven. Cook the bacon at 350 in the oven and watch it closely. When the bacon is raw, the pink part is the meat and the white part is the fat. When the fat turns from yellow to gold and the meat part is dark red and not yet brown, the bacon is in the magic zone. Once the fat turns brown the bacon is getting overcooked.
