Does anybody else like to bake cookies?

I know that you can buy any cookies in the store. It is difficult to beat the smell and taste of baked cookies fresh out of the oven. I remember my mother and grandmother baking these at home. I suppose I am becoming my mother and grandmother as life moves on. How many prefer to bake cookies at home to store bought?

I started baking chicken a lot after I got married when I was 20 years old.

I used to bake chocolate chip cookies for my boyfriend in high school. He took some home and his mother ate some and asked him to get my recipe - so they must have been pretty tasty because she was a great cook/baker herself.

Because when I would bake a batch of cookies 🍪 I would make a big batch and take some to work and share them with my coworkers. They loved them.♥️

I continued baking cookies and at Christmas time I would bake gingerbread boys and the girls at work really enjoyed them but not as much as I did baking and decorating them.🙂

If you are making homemade peanut butter cookies, add 1/2 cup more peanut butter than the recipe calls for. That way you can taste that they are peanut butter cookies.

Always use fresh ingredients that you just bought - especially the flour, but really every ingredient should be fresh. That makes them taste better.

I like to. There's countless different types to bake and try, a lot more than you can buy.
It's the cleaning up after I don't like.

I can't bake cookies, but i know what you mean.. the fresh smell of something baked brings memories...🥰, what i can bake are, pastries and bread, just these 2...😅

Yes, they have a much fresher and better taste and the house smells great for a while after. Chocolate chip and sugar cookies come out great baked at home.
