It's apparently called Sea Parslane and it's supposed to be extremely nutritious

Description:

This succulent plant has thick, fleshy leaves and stems, often with a reddish tint, similar to other succulents.

Habitat:

It is a halophyte, meaning it tolerates high salinity and is typically found in coastal areas, marshes, and even mangrove regions.

Edibility and Uses:

Both Sea Purslane and Common Purslane are edible and consumed as leafy vegetables in various cultures. Common Purslane is also used as fodder and was traditionally used as an ointment for burns. Sea Purslane is additionally used for sand-dune fixation and phytoremediation along coastal areas due to its tolerance to abiotic stresses like salinity and drought.

Taste:

The leaves can be eaten raw and have a salty, slightly bitter or acidic flavor with a crunchy texture, becoming softer when cooked.

This kinda looks like a clove type. (Not sure if translated correctly, I Only know the german name myself so had to use a translater)

We call it Baqla and we use it in salad and it's a leafy plant 👍🏻

It's common around the British coast but apart from the "foraging type" No one eats it.

Most these coastal plants are too salty for most people. There's some British recipes but it never caught on the same way seaweed or samphire did.
