For example, most people I know have a favorite food. I don't. I am a phenomenal cook, and literally everything I make tastes fantastic. There are as a result no foods that I couldn't live without. On the other side of that token, there are foods I strongly dislike. It's never a taste issue either, it's always a texture issue.
I just mentioned that to my wife, that I absolutely do not have a favorite food. She was momentarily shocked. Cause she definitely has a few favorite foods.

I don't know... what's "odd" anyway? I like myself. There are moments of self doubt followed by a sigh and "fuck it" acceptance of who I am. This is me. I'll work on what I can, but I'm not gonna beat myself up over some small deficiency when I see other people with massive EQ and IQ issues.
For me, the no favorite food thing came about because my wife wanted to know, and I couldn't for the life of me think of one. It was weird.
