So aye or nae, would you eat it?

I’d try it, but probably just the once. I prefer my mac and cheese saucy with just a bit of the very top crusty. Those little pies look kinda dry. Saucy could probably be done. Pot pies are usually pretty soupy.
That said, as particular as i am, i don’t eat mac and cheese very often. I prefer to poop regularly.
English/Scottish/Welsh people seem to have a formula of "if it is tasty make a pie out of it" I think for the rest of the world pastry is mostly for dessert, but you British are always making meat pies and fish pies and all that stuff.
True. Most British cookbooks seem to be 90% pie recipes. If you're not sure what to do with something you bung it in a pie
Chicken pot pie is as far as I'll go to having anything other than fruit jam.
Aye, sounds simply braw it does!! #saidwhileattemptingscottishaccent
Absolutely, aye! The Scottish macaroni pie is a delightful culinary treat. The combination of creamy macaroni and cheese nestled within a buttery, flaky pastry crust creates a unique texture and flavor experience. It’s a great blend of comfort food and traditional pastry craftsmanship. I remember enjoying a warm, freshly baked one on a chilly day in Edinburgh, and it warmed me up perfectly. 🧀🥧

I would at least try it once. 🤔
Sure, why not at least tasting that Scottish macaroni pie. Still a bit odd as recipe, which seems to me a more or less successful improvisation to make something with remains of previous meals. In that optic a nice idea actually. I guess many recipes were created that way.
I like macaroni.
And, I like pie.
Put 'em together...
I say "Aye!"
As a Scot I have had this delicacy. IT's surprisingly tasty and I've seen versions of it with mince beneath the "lid" of pie crust too. They're a bit weird mind.
Whats not to like about macaroni? I don't see myself preferring it this way but it is still macaroni.
That honestly looks soo good, I love mac and cheese!
It will not be a favourite dish. But I would try it.
I guess so. It does not look like there is anything too bad in it.
No I will pass. Just some regular mac & cheese is fine by me.
If you mixed in some cooked bacon and green onions
I don't like macaroni and cheese so I'd pass
Aye, maybe with a bit o haggis on the side.
Maybe if it had some meet, the greens at the bottom look good, but lot of carbs
Eww looks so dry how can you even possibly swallow that? Maybe Bigfoot can
I wouldn’t even feed that to Bigfoot, my friend that I met in the woods
I'll try it, same as a butter pie
Aye. My favourite one had haggis at the bottom!
I would have to pass on that one.
Looks good to me.
Buuuuuuuuddddddddy
Count me in.
Only if it's suitable for vegetarians.
Only if it's deep dried,,,
