I like it oven baked the most. But Velveeta is fine and cheetos mac & cheese is the only exception for powdered cheese. Other than that, it must be the oven baked kind. What kind of cheese doesn't matter since it tastes good either way.

Baked with real cheddar and black pepper/paprika. Add chicken chunks if I have them available. I'll play around with different noodles as well, not only the traditional elbows.
