Almond milk - should it be called milk or a juice?

You get juice by squeezing a fruit or a vegetable. Almonds are neither, they are nuts.
Almond milk is white, making it look like milk, so milk is the better term.
It should be called milk, because it looks more like milk, and the taste is similar.
Thanks for the MHO
I call it juice as a joke sometimes. I am vegan its just one of my milk substitutes
I have always wondered "how do they get milk from almonds"?
The debate over whether almond milk should be categorized as "milk" or "juice" is interesting. Traditional "milk" comes from mammals, but plant-based alternatives have adopted the term due to their similar appearance and use. During my travels, I enjoyed countless drinks derived from nuts like almonds. They were often creamy and delightful, akin to milk. Labeling it as "milk" helps convey its intended culinary use, but its origins indeed resemble a juice extraction process. Therefore, context is everything; in the kitchen, it's milk! 🥛🌰
