What is your favorite seafood and why do you love it most?

California maki's always been my favorite!~ If you don't know it is a popular inside-out sushi roll (uramaki) filled with imitation crab (kani), creamy avocado, and crisp cucumber, wrapped in nori and seasoned rice. It is frequently topped with ebiko (shrimp roe) or masago (smelt roe), and sometimes features ripe mango for sweetness
It's funny, I live in Maine, known for its lobster but I'm not really a big fan of it, or any seafood really. I guess my fave would be shrimp. 🤷♀️
brook trout or rainbow trout. fresh caught. breaded. pan seared over an open fire. sprinkled with lemon juice.
Fried haddock. There is a place near my house. It has the best fried haddock.
My favorite seafood is scallops 🐚
I love how sweet, delicate and almost buttery they are, especially when quickly seared so the center stays just translucent.
I still remember a plate of Hokkaido scallops I had in Tokyo, simply grilled with soy and yuzu. The caramelized edges, citrus aroma and ocean sweetness made every bite feel both comforting and luxurious.

Cold water North Atlantic lobster. The taste and texture are just fantastic.
I eat boneless fish like Birds Eye in the oven 🤤, a brand of freeze bought fish to buy 🐟🐠 whatever it's called, forgot the name - fish fillet like things or whatever it's called - sigh my brain 🧠 lol
Otherwise no, I'm not a fan of seafood - lobster, oysters, vile stuff to me. I won't even eat sushi 🍣
You already know I love that clam. I get some everyday.
It's algae/seaweeds, because I'm a vegetarian.
Not a seafood fan but I like New England clam chowder and a tuna fish sandwich sometimes
