I don't drink that often. I used to bartend at a really big club when I was in school and had limited hours to work and basically at night and weekends. After a shift I would have a vodka tonic on occasion. I dont bartend anymore and haven't been in a bar or club since. I guess you get worn out by working in one for so long. If I do have a drink it is the same vodka and tonic or I'll have a glass of wine if out to dinner. Not really much of a fan of drinking just for the heck of it. Right now I dont at all because I have to take constant care of my other half who just had surgery and is useless. I mean useless. She can't currently do a thing for herself. So no time to be sitting around getting buzzed.

I don't drink 🍷 yet church wine used to be red or port wine mixed with water. A sip per congregant on the wiped cup aka chalice back in the my early 20s

I only ever had one Roman Catholic church part of a order actually do both bread and wine on special Masses. Strangely the Protestant masses do it regularly - go figure the divide ➗

My favorite is a good Japanese whisky, neat or with a big clear ice cube. It reminds me of a tiny bar in Tokyo where the bartender carved ice by hand and served whisky with quiet ceremony. I also have a soft spot for a classic Negroni before dinner. 🥃
