A restaurant near me, Three Kings, has these phenomenal fries. They're probably steak fries, which are thicker than I would normally prefer, but they taste amazing.

I always fall hardest for thin, super‑crispy shoestring fries 🍟

The ones I like most are thick fries with dipping sauce. Depending on what else I am eating, the sauce could be ketchup, BBQ or tartar.

That said, while I am generally not a fan of crinkle cut fries (because they are normally baked), there used to be an awesome burger place that made crinkle cut fries - but cooked in a frier like fries are supposed to be - which were excellent. Sadly, the family who ran it for 30 years retired, sold it off, and the new owners quickly ran it into the ground.

I make my own fries at home the old fashioned way. My grandma taught us how to make the best French fries sandwiches when we were kids. We never knew it was "poor people's food " until we were adults. 🤣🤣

I don't eat fries or chips regularly, but I like anything crispy and slightly spicy. The thicker ones are best, in my opinion.

If I don't like fries it's rarely because of their thickness. They need to be fried and seasoned properly, then any type of fries can take good.

There is a local place that has the best french fries. They are not too big but are not like the shoestring fries. They are extra crunchy and not greasy.
