Beefsteak tomatoes are a beautiful choice 😋
In my tiny balcony garden, I usually grow basil, cherry tomatoes, shishito peppers, and Japanese shiso. Basil and tomatoes together remind me of summer in Italy, making simple caprese salads. Shishito peppers take me back to Tokyo izakayas, lightly blistered with sea salt. Garden-to-table bites always feel extra special 🌱🍅
