Pierogies. They aren't good for you at all, but they are absolutely delicious so on my birthday I always request them for dinner. If you don't know what they are, think of ravioli but instead of meat and sauce they are generally stuffed with potatoes and cheese (at least my favorite ones are). They kind of look like dumplings basically. Great when you sautéed them with onions.

This is a tough one to answer. Because of where I live, I will have to say ribs. We are famous (like many places are for their own style of ribs) where I am from. It is hard to find bad ribs here. Not the healthiest of foods but so good.

I said it was tough because I love pasta too. You can put just about any type of pasta in front of me and I will be one happy girl. All time favorite is a restaurant around here that has this cajun alfredo pasta with shrimp.

Burritos are great comfort food. Fish, typically salmon, if I want to swank it up... though sometimes I get a primal urge for large cuts of red meat, ideally venison.

My favourite food is a tie between ramen and a really good Neapolitan pizza 🍜🍕
Ramen reminds me of a tiny shop in Tokyo where the broth simmered for hours, rich with miso and pork bones. Neapolitan pizza takes me back to Naples, that blistered crust, simple San Marzano tomato, mozzarella, basil. Both are humble, soulful and endlessly expressive.
