I loaded up with carbs & proteins late last night.

This morning, I jogged nearly 30 miles (48 kilometers).

I'm not yet starving now but when I grab a bite in a bit, I might want a Tomahawk steak with real truffle mac & cheese and a bottle of 100% Zinfandel red wine.

I told my dad that I was craving for the Tomahawk.

So, he said he'd treat me and my husband to a bbq with "all the fixins" we'd like in their backyard.

Dad: "Just bring the wine."

So, we did. . .

3 bottles of aged 100% Old Vine Zinfandel.

When we arrived, those Tomahawks in dad's smoker looked perfectly appetizing.

Mom's real truffle mac & cheese and truffle mashed potatoes were ready as well.

The 4 of us enjoyed all the delightful food, every sip of wine and all the stories we shared 'til 2:00 a. m.

Hubby & I Ubered home since we were in no condition to drive.

After feeding our pets this morning, hubby & I went back to bed and kept sleeping 'til noon.

Now, we're craving for prime rib & lobsters.

This time, we'll just go to a restaurant.

Of course, we'll invite mom & dad.

If I have to choose, my heart belongs to two:

I adore Japanese ramen, especially a rich tonkotsu broth with slow-cooked chashu. It reminds me of a tiny Tokyo shop where steam fogged the windows.

And I love a simple Italian margherita pizza, with blistered crust and fresh basil, like the ones I had in Naples.

Can’t really go wrong with one of my ribeyes. I don’t think I’ve talked to @7Phoenix7 since I’ve gotten into the sous-vide cooking game, but the steaks have only gotten more tender. Three hours in a vacuum-sealed bag underwater at 125, comes out looking like you microwaved a steak, lmao, but then you hit it with a quick sear, and baste it in butter with rosemary and garlic, maybe some thyme if you’re feeling sassy…TOP SHELF. Deadass, the fat you’d maybe chew on but spit out, that just straight up dissolves in your mouth. It’s like a custard, almost.

Probably super basic/boring but pizza. There's also some Brazilian food I like such as pasteis and coxinhas. If we're talking sweets/desserts then basically chocolate anything be it milk, dark, or white chocolate. Perhaps cake or brownies.
