Grilled. This is why I go to Culver's for a chicken sandwich. I used to get the Asiago Ranch Chicken Club at Wendy's, but they stopped carrying grilled chicken, so I stopped going to Wendy's unless I want to pay for their "Is that all I get?" chili. (Their "double-stack" is horseshit; they just take a single and cut it in half making it look like two patties.)

Breaded can be delicious, especially when super crispy, but grilled lets the flavor of the meat shine more and feels lighter.

It reminds me of a tiny spot in Tokyo where I had a grilled chicken sandwich with yuzu mayo and pickled veggies. Simple, juicy, smoky and unforgettable.
