The food I love I can make myself, I'll teach him if needed.
Paella... a more authentic one
lol... you might have more Mexicans over there, than I do have around here
I'm quite sure many of them are more Mexican than me...
the ones from the South and Centre... they're the better ones at cooking too
Paella is easy to make, she can learn if she doesn't have 2 left hands ๐
@lilBigPotato agreed...
for the people who can pay attention to details, to timing and... can actually focus on what they're doing, and are able to double check... cooking is easier
but, there's also people that can burn water, and we all know someone like that lmao
messing up a good rice is a crime against humanity
@lilBigPotato lol you make it?
True ๐
@7Phoenix7 I have made a few. Nothing I do every week but for special occasions... Most difficult part is the space required for bigger pans, other than that it's quite easy.
I heard @7Phoenix7 has burned air before...

this is similar to the one I tried... after minute 18:00 in the video
because, I can start a wood fire anywhere... any time

look it up and try it when you can
For me, it would be a simple, perfect bowl of carbonara 🇮🇹
Not the creamy restaurant version, but the real Roman kind with egg, pecorino, guanciale and black pepper. I fell in love with it in a tiny trattoria in Trastevere, where the cook said, โIf someone makes this for you with care, they love you.โ That stayed with me 💛🍝

I don't effing know. I quit trying to make things tasty a long time ago. There exist professional chefs.. and the ibternet full of recipes. But who cares, i save time when i devour avocados with a spoon with whole tomatos. ใ ค
Sometimes all the salt and spice and lime, i might as well grad a ready made guacamole or the likes if it that never spoil unlike fresh avocados. But i was talking about raw unsalted, there's something about them fresh that i prefer.
The chef, i thought about building a robot that could watch youtube videos and execute the exact recipes. If i thought about it then someone in china probably already has a draft for it.
Apparently, I'm never gonna have a partner ever again but, if I did, I'd want her to know how to make breaded chicken.
Get a pack or two of boneless, skinless chicken breasts/white meat and cut off all the uneeded bits, then, if needed, cut the meat into smaller pieces. A few inches long and about 2" or so wide.
Get out two pie pans and one medium dish about 2" deep.
In one pan, put a cup or two of flour. In the other, put 2 or 3 cups of corn flakes crumbs. In the dish, crack an egg or two and scramble them.
When the chicken is ready, get a skillet with a scoop or two of bacon grease in it on the stove and melt the grease.
Take a slice of chicken, dip it into the flower, then the egg, then the bread crumbs then, once it's completely coated with all three, put it onto the skillet and let it cook. Once all the chicken is in and cooked well (a few minutes per side) pull out each piece and put it on a paper towel on a Styrofoam tray to blot off the excess grease. In another skillet, put a rack inside to put the chicken on and about a half inch of water in the bottom. Put the chicken on the rack and cover it with a lid that fits tight. After the chicken is steamed, about 10:00 or so, take it out and serve!
Goes great with baked beans (if you cook them in maple syrup, ketchup and brown sugar) and scalloped potatoes. After you eat the beans, dip the chicken into the beans sauce!! YUM!!
So far, other than my mom and grandmother, I don't know of anyone else that cooks it that way! They all leave all the bones and skin on and, what's the bloody point of breading it if you're gonna throw most of that away on the skin and bones?
And, thank you!
I would teach him how to cook a complete breakfast just the way that I like it.
Fried eggs 🥚 3 of them and cook the white part but don't break the yolks
4 pieces of crispy bacon 🥓
Hash brown potatoes the country style
2 pieces of buttered white toast with strawberry 🍓 jam
Orange 🍊 juice 🧃
A good roast chicken and potatoes is always nice. Or anything that requires an outdoor grill. (I love grilled food but don't have the space for one.)
A really good breakfast sandwich. I like cottage cheese in my eggs
So interesting, Wow. Do you taste the cottage cheese or?
Does it make the batter runny? I've never tried
You might actually get me to try something new ๐
Haha I'll try and remember. I don't eat pancakes too often
I eat oatmeal almost everyday ๐๐
A specific French dish but he knows how to make it lol.
Homemade chicken noodle soup like mom makes.
Anything on a grill as all guys should know how to operate a grill.
as long as he can handle Postmates i'm good
I rather they washed our dishes and I cooked.
I dabble but that is not why I say this. I say it because โtheyโ never cook, help cook, or help clean up after.
Not really. It is lot more common than you realize.
