The food most often thought of first in the East is rice. Ireland it’s potatoes. America it’s the burger.

Not saying China or India don’t eat meat or pollute. They do, and on massive scales. But they’re doing a better job containing pollution than the US.

But our consumption of meat is helping pollute the planet.

We’re literally dying to “live”.

The US has 5% of the world’s population but causes 13% of the world’s pollution. We also drive the world economy, so lots of variables go into that.

It’s not cars anymore, it’s cows. And other food processing. I’m not advocating for Maoist agrarianism, lol. Just have a thought about it. I am whilst I eat my fajitas tonight.

Most of us would prefer homemade spaghetti sauce, but that takes a lot of preparation time and skill, that many of us don't have.
