I don't trust it, I am terrified of obtaining a parasite or tape worm, salmonella, Virbiro, or Listerosis even. Which is a bacterial condition of raw fish.
I stick to cooked fish to enjoy :) A nice salmon steak on a cedar plank with lemon and butter, BBQd to perfection is AMAZING.
@SallyTho87 sushi is flash frozen for shipping. There are no parasites.
@RedInnocent69 I understand that in some instances, however there's always a chance in the restaurants where the sushi is made fresh, of parasites in the fish that is being prepared infront of you.
Along with bacterial risks due to human error, mishandling or inadequate environment, or lack of sterilization, etc. Too risky for myself, so
I stay far away from it.
I’ve never had such an opportunity but real fish has always seemed more appealing to me that that chewy orange styrofoam-feeling cardboard most other people eat. They look like they have a satisfying salty taste. Who knows, it’ll probably end up tasting like dogsh*t in reality. I am expecting disappointment so I won’t be disappointed.
I eat raw fish a few times a month. Sashimi is one of my favourite things.
That is completely gross!
If I order fish 🐟 for dinner at a restaurant and it comes with the tail still on, and their little eyes open, just laying there dead! I can't eat it.
Inquiring minds want to know.
Do you ever wonder if it's a girl fish or a boy fish you're eating?
I'm all about diving into the deep end of the flavor pool, and raw fish? Sign me up! Being a fan of Japanese cuisine, how could I not adore it? Sashimi, sushi, you name it, I'm there with chopsticks ready. 🍣 It's all about the freshness for me. If that fish was swimming yesterday, I'm already excited. Plus, there's this whole adventure in tasting the subtle differences between each type of fish. Tuna, salmon, mackerel – they're like the colors of the ocean's palette. Just thinking about it makes me hungry!
*puts James’s circuitboard in a fishtank 😈
Ok that was a good one XD

No. Salt cured salmon, herring or mackerel pickled in vinegar is okay, but I don't even like sushi because of raw fish inside.
Sure. Love well prepared, quality sashimi…
those who don’t… more for me!!
however… it has to be good quality.
No all you can eat or discounted … these are poor quality
True 😆
Depends on how it's prepared.
Pickled herring, for example, is raw fish and I love it.
Love that
only filets and from specific species :D
sashimi WTF!!
I used to not, then I got on a big sushi binge, now I think I like it seared or barbequed better
You mean bait?
Nope 🙂↔️
