Do you tell your boyfriend when you are on your period?

I do not like to talk with him about it, and do not want to gross him out by telling him. But I feel bad when he gets turned on and starts wanting to make out and then tell him we cannot have sex. How do you handle?

I don't tell him but he can usually tell when I'm on my period since I get mood swings and more emotional. It never stops us from having sex though. Lol Shower sex is great during periods! Haha But if you're comfortable around him then I don't see why it would be a big deal to tell him when it's your time of the month. I doubt it would gross him out...

I tell my boyfriend ahead of time. Were long distance so if Im going to be seeing him and I know ill have it ill text him saying "just a warning Im gunna be on my period". He's fine with that and he actually likes that i tell him ahead of time and that im comfortable doing so.

My boyfriend is extremely squeamish...and my birth control makes my periods last longer and heavier...so he knows that if I try something that we are all fine because I don't feel comfortable with have sex while on my period :)

We have a signal. She just leaves the package of tampons on the toilet tank during her time. No questions asked.

Now, talk to your doctor. My wife takes birth control pills every day. With her doctors advice, she takes them non-stop. She can go 4-5 months in between periods. She has been doing this for years, and no problems.

Well, if you guys have been dating for a while he should know when you start to approach your cycle and when to diminish his urges when your on your cycle on his own..

Just casually tell him before things get too heated. A simple "I can't today" and my boyfriend gets the message yours should too. Then leave it at that. You can always give him head, he'll love it.

Yeah I'm not ashamed to tell him. He should be able to handle it. Any guy who wants a girlfriend needs to be able to handle that. It's part of having a female companion.

I let my guy know. They are usually understanding. Some men don't mind having sex while on your period. You could always pleasure him orally.
